Leave and Absence

1.    No students will be allowed to leave the school premises before the end of school hours. In case of unexpected circumstances, he/she may go home with the permission of the Principal/Head Master.
2.     Every student must fulfil an attendance of at least 80% during the academic session.
3.     In case of absence, leave application must be submitted to the Principal/Head Master through class teacher either on the same day or on the next day. If any student is absent from school without leave or permission of the Principal/Head Master, he/she will be fined a sum of  Rs.: 20/- per day for Class-I to VIII and Rs.: 50/- per day for Class-IX & X for the Students’ Welfare Fund. To exempt from the fine,  the student has to either produce a reliable document (invitation / doctor prescription etc.) or come to school along with his/her parent to give valid reason for the absence.
4.     In case of leave for more than three days due to illness, the application must be certified by a registered medical practitioner.
5.     In case a student remains absent for a long period without submitting any application, his/her name will be struck off from the attendance register.
6.     Every application must be countersigned by his/her/their parents/guardians.
7.     Parents can meet the subject teachers or the class teacher through the Principal/Head Master.
